I met Japanese in Solomon

ホニアラ市内夜間停電でした。
持って来た懐中電灯、ヘッド電気のありがたみを強く感じました。
任地に行ったら停電が当たり前のようになると思うので慣れないといけません。

In Honiara city it was a power failure all last night.
I have a lot of flashlight from Japan,their are so useful.
In my place of work a power failure is usual ,so I must get used to it.

今日はministory of public survice に表敬訪問に行きました。
ジャケット着用だったので暑苦しい中ジャケット、スーツ、さらに革靴に身を包み出かけました。

ところが久しぶりに履いたヒールに、でこぼこの道のお陰でふらつき、でこぼこ道につまずき、転び、膝を擦りむき、さらにスーツが破れました。。。。。。。。。。。
明日は日本大使館に表敬訪問に行ってきます。スーツを縫わなくてはいけません。
そして何者かに刺されて背中が真っ赤に腫れています・・・。足も蚊に刺されて真っ赤、痒いし痛いしで最悪です。今日は鼻の下まで刺されてさらに最悪です。
日本にいるときと環境が違うので身体のあちこちが異変を感じているし、環境が違うんだという事を失敗から学んでいます。
Today,I went to the ministory of public services,and I courtesy called to them. We went to there wearing my jacket, suit,and leather shoes ,it was so hot and humit.It has been a long time since I wore the shoes,and the road in Solomon is rough,so It was difficult to walk.as a result I stumbled over a rough road,I fell down.My knee was injured,and my new suit was torn.
Tomorrow I will go to Embassy of Japan,so I must sew up my suit.
And what was even worse,my back was bitten by something…,and throughout my back had a swelling,and it is so itchy and painful…Help!
It has passed 1week since I came to Solomon,and in the days I am leaning the environment is completely different from Japan.

そんな私に嬉しいニュースが一つ。
事務所に行くと今日の新聞一面がこんなニュース。
アートフェティバルに日本人のパフォーマーが参加をするということ。JICA事務所のスタッフも今日通訳を行っていて関わっていました。キーボードパフォーマーの松本淳一さん、数々の賞を受賞しており世界的に有名な方です。
今日授業の帰りに早速見に行って来ました。
雨が降っていましたがステージが始まると少し弱まりました。
とっても力強くかつ繊細な音の響き、心にしみるメロディーライン・・・とっても素晴らしかったです。
ソロモンで日本人に会う事ができるのはなんだか嬉しいです。
元気をもらいました。

例え停電でも断水でも蚊に刺されてもズボンが破れても暑くてばてそうでも
バスがいつ来るかわからなくても
部屋にアリやトカゲやネズミが居ても・・・
私もこのソロモンで少しでも多くの方に注目してもらえるように関心を持ってもらえるように、出来る限りソロモンのために自分の力を注ごうと、そのくらいの心意気で頑張ろうと心に誓いました。

But,after that I got a good news.
In todays newspaper,2 Japanese woman and man were appeared ,and it said in the festival of arts 2Japanese people will do a performance.His name is Junichi Kobayashi,he is famous electronic organ player who was awarded a lot of prize all over the world .After class I went to the stage,and we could see and listen their performance.
His sound of electronic organ was so great, and the dance was strong and beautiful, and it encouraged me.
I thought I will do my best , and I want to leave something in Solomon.

そんな夜はかぼちゃと菜の花のてんぷら、肉なし親子丼、おひたしにしました。

At dinner I cooked tempura and oyakodon!!
