昨日はソロモンの独立記念日でお休みでした。
近くのビーチまで行って来ました。ホニアラからすぐ海が見渡せるのですが泳げるような海岸はあんまりありません。
バスを乗り継いで行って来ました。バスは移動距離関係なく一回３ドル（３０円）です。
いつもぎゅうぎゅうのバスの中はのりのりの音楽がかかっています。
It was the independence day in Solomon yesterday.
We went to the beach by bus.(It costs 3SD,it is about 30yen)
We transfered buses,after that we arrived at the beach.
こちらがビーチ！
波がとっても荒くて泳ぐというよりは波に打たれていました。シュノーケルしましたが濁っていてクリアではなかったです。
ホニアラのビーチだからなのか、もう少し遠くに行ったら違うのかな？
日本に居るときは海に行く事がなかったのでこれからはもっと海で遊びたいです。
パームツリーにターザンが！！現地の子達はパームツリーにブランコを作ってぶらさげたり、ターザンしたりして遊んでいました。
歩いていると、会社の仲間でバーベキューをしている方々が。早速習ったピジン語で話しかける。するとボスは私が行くマルー出身の方と言い大変喜ばれる。
ぜひ一緒に食べようよ！お金はいらないぜ！と。
お言葉に甘えてごちそう頂きました。
豚の丸焼き、魚、チキン、タロイモ、キャッサバなどたくさん頂きました。
子ども達もたくさん居てみんなでサッカーをしたり遊んだり、奥様方と話したり。みんな英語も通じたのでピジン語と英語を混ぜながら楽しく交流できました。子ども達は本当にかわいい。みんなシャイなんだけど、話しかけるととっても人なつこい。

But in the beach ,the sea was rough,and when I snorkeled ,It wasn’t clear.
I think if I go to the far from capital,I can go more beautiful and clear sea.
But,it was enough to enjoy a lot!!
In Japan I didn’t go to a beach,and I didn’t swim in the sea,so I want to try to enjoy in the sea in Solomon.
But,the trouble is I’m not good at swimming..
There is a rope like a tarzan! Children enjoyed to use this rope, and they jumped into the sea.
When we walked on the beach,I found people who did BQQ,and I tried to talk to them by Pijin language.They are group of the company,and the boss is from Maluu ,which is my place of works.He said ‘Join us!,and it’s free!!Come on!’
They feasted us,and we had a great lunch,There are a piglet roasted,chicken,fish ,taro,cassava,and more!
They could speak English,so I tried to speak in English and Pijin.
I had a chat and played soccer with them,and we spent precious time with a lot of so pretty children and so kind people.
このビーチには第二次世界大戦で座礁した日本軍の船も。。。奇麗なビーチに横たわったおどろおどろしい船、すごい光景ですね。ガダルカナル島は激戦地となったエリアですが、この海からたくさんの日本兵、アメリカ兵が上陸したんだろうなと。こんな奇麗な海を見て何を思ったんだろうなと、考えてしまいました。ホニアラには街のあちこちに日本軍の慰霊碑が立っていたり日本軍やアメリカ軍の戦闘機や船が放置されています。
平和に過ごしている今にただ感謝です。
In the beach there are ships which was remained by Japanese in the Second world war.I felt so sad,and I wondered what the soldiers thought when they landed at the beautiful sea. I appreciate I can alive now.
After saying them byebye ,we waited the bus going back to the city.Then,a track stopped in front of us,and they say ‘Ride on the track !’,and we rode on the load-carrying platform ,and we went back to the city .
I think Solomon Islanders is so kind, especially I thought that yesterday.
ビーチからの帰りバスを待っていたら一台のトラックが止まり、乗って行きなよ！と。お言葉に甘えさせて頂きました。トラックの荷台はとっても気持ちよい！こんな感じでアウキから任地のマルーまで３時間乗車をするんだろうな、と思います。
ある日の夕食。
豚を購入しました。皮がそのまま。よくみると毛もそのまま。。。
どうして良いのか分からなくてとりあえず炒めてみたら皮は硬いし焼いても毛が見えるし・・・。
日本のスーパーの肉はとっても奇麗だし、美味しいし、便利。
皮をはいで角煮に、骨は豚骨スープにしました。
こちらに来て骨つき肉を買っていますが豚も鶏も骨からとっても美味しいダシがでます。もったいなくて捨てられない。
I bought a part of pig in a market.It had so tough skin,and feather..
I tried to cook,but It was so difficult to cook.
I cook boiled pork,and I used the born for making soup.
In Solomon,I buy meat with the born in the market.I knew its can make very good soup stock.
ちなみにピジン語で豚はpigpigと言います。話すはtoktok、走るはrunrun、食べるはkaikai、踊るはdancedance、考えるはtingtingという感じになぜか２回繰り返します。先生に理由を聞いたら、楽しいでしょ？？と。
確かに！
豚を食べる＝ mi kaikaim pigpigとなります。
ちなみにうみはsolwataと言います。しょっぱい水と書きます。
それにしてもこちらは蚊が多くて刺しまくられて痒い、なぜか傷ができていることも多々あり痛い。マラリアが恐いのでマラリア予防薬を内服することにしました。副作用が恐いけどとりあえずトライします。
マラリア予防薬、検査キット、抗生剤あれこれ。
ドミトリーが断水になったり、電気の供給も足りなかったり、荷物の中にアリが大発生していたり、・・・本当に今まで経験したことがないことばかりですが頑張ります。

I am afraid of Malaria,so I diceded of taking medicine for prevention it.I heard it produce some secondary effect,but I try it..
There are some trouble,for example the water supply in the dormitory was cut off and an electric supply is so little,and what was even worse,a lot of ant appeared in my luggage…..Help!!
But I will try to do anything!And 2years later,I will to be strong women.
